Orna

Why Choose Orna for Your Switches and Sockets

Orna is Honeywell’s premium range of modular switches, and the name people usually reach for when they want a switchboard that looks as good as the rest of the room.

A modular switch system means the switches, sockets and accessories on a wall plate are built as separate pieces that click into a common base, rather than one fixed unit. That makes it easy to mix and match — a couple of light switches, a socket, maybe a USB charging point, all on the same plate, arranged however the room actually needs it. It also means a single damaged switch can be swapped out on its own, instead of replacing the whole plate.

Orna’s flat, almost seamless front plate is the main reason designers and homeowners pick it over a standard switch range — there’s no visible gap or lip around each switch, so the wall plate reads as one clean surface instead of a row of separate buttons. The press mechanism is also noticeably smoother and quieter than older toggle-style switches, which matters more than people expect once they’re living with it every day.

We stock the full Orna range — switches, sockets, front plates and accessories — so an electrician or interior contractor can source everything for a project from one place instead of chasing individual pieces across different suppliers. That matters for colour and finish matching too; mixing switch ranges on the same wall is one of the easiest ways to make a finished interior look unplanned.
